BH Sky Announces Community Hope GSA Contract Award for Human Resources & Equal Employment Opportunity Services
Community Hope, with a mission to help individuals, including veterans, and their families, overcome mental illness, addiction, homelessness and poverty, expands its footprint in the federal marketplace.
BH Sky Associates, a leading government contracts consultancy, is pleased to announce that Community Hope, among the largest providers of transitional and supportive housing for individuals in recovery from mental illness and substance abuse in New Jersey, has been awarded a General Services Administration (GSA) Contract for Schedule 738X – Human Resources & Equal Employment Opportunity Services. The award, with base five years and three five-year options to extend, will better enable the US Department of Veteran’s Affairs (VA) and other government agencies to more quickly and efficiently take advantage of the Residential Treatment Program and Supportive Transitional Housing Programs proudly offered by Community Hope to Veterans.
“This Contract affords us the opportunity to reach more veterans who can benefit from our 28-years of experience in providing supportive housing services” said J. Michael Armstrong, Community Hope Chief Executive Officer and himself a veteran. “After serving more than a thousand veterans, we are aware of our veterans’ specific needs, including those that have experienced combat, repeated tours of duty and trauma.”
