GSA Released MAS Solicitation 47QSMD20R0001 Refresh 5

The General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Acquistion Service (FAS) just released GSA Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) Solicitation 47QSMD20R0001 Refresh # 5 and the associated Mass Modification A826 to incorporate provision and clause updates. GSA MAS Solicitation Refresh 5 changes include:

MAS SOLICITATION CHANGES:

  • Incorporate a new Section 889 “Part B” Representation Requirement in the System for Award Management (SAM).

  • Remove GSAR 552.204-70 Prohibition on Contracting for Certain Telecommunications and Video Surveillance Services or Equipment.

  • Update vendor templates for Agent Authorization Letter and Request to Hold Continuous Contracts.

  • 7 new Special Item Numbers (SINs) added under Large Category H – Professional Services 

  • 2 existing SIN descriptions updated under Large Category H – Professional Services

  • Deleted SINS 33411REF Purchase of Used or Refurbished Equipment and 532420R Daily/Short Term Rental of IT Equipment

NEXT STEPS:

If you are preparing a new Offer to GSA:

  • Update SAM to reflect the new Section 889 Part B

  • Review the 7 new SINs added and 2 SIN description updates

For existing GSA Contractors:

GSA FAS has issued a bilateral Mass Modification A826 to apply the changes to existing MAS contracts. Contractors have 90 days to accept the mass mod.

  • Review and accept the GSA MAS Solicitation Refresh 5 Mass Modification A826
  • Update SAM to reflect the new Section 889 Part B

  • Review the 7 new SINs added and 2 SIN description updates and determine if a modification should be initiated to update your GSA Contract

  • If you hold multiple GSA Contracts, review the Request to Hold Continuous Contract document and begin the MAS Consolidation Phase 3 Checklist, Plan and Modification(s) to add products, services and solutions to the ‘surviving GSA Contract’
